FORTUNE Names Collaborative Solutions a ‘Best Medium Company to Work For’ for Fourth Consecutive Year

The company ranks as #6 Best Medium Workplace.

RESTON, VA –  October 18, 2019 – Collaborative Solutions announced its placement on FORTUNE Magazine and Great Place to Work®’s list of 2019 Best Medium Workplaces at #6, up from #11 last year. This is the fourth year the company has ranked on this list.

“Having a place on this list year four years in a row is a great accomplishment for Collaborative Solutions,” said Bob Maller, President and Chief Culture Officer. “As we grow our global presence, it is important for us to stay true to our roots and carry out our mission to be a great workplace for all, from hiring diverse people to building our employees in their careers. We strive to make Collaborative feel less like a company and more like a home.”

To determine this list, Great Place to Work analyzed survey results from 126,901 respondents representing more than 189,000 employees working in small- and medium-sized businesses in the United States. The survey examined employees’ experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as a part of their organization, no matter their role, age, or gender. These results were assessed relative to company size, workforce make up, and experiences of peers in the industry. The survey also evaluated daily experiences for innovation, company values, and effectiveness of leaders.

Collaborative Solutions’ efforts to create an environment that is encouraging, supportive, and fun, all while offering an assortment of professional development opportunities, make the company an employer of choice. At Collaborative, the employee experience is a main priority and from the moment ‘Collabies’ onboard, they are set up for success. Through a mentorship program, on-demand learning courses, and programs like ‘Feedback Friday’, there are choices for employees to engage in and grow as humans and as professionals. For employees to thrive, Collaborative knows there also needs to be investment in leadership, so the company conducts an annual Leadership Academy, provides a yearly Manager Effectiveness Survey, and offers a robust series of on-demand leadership courses. These initiatives and programs are all aligned with Collaborative’s ‘People’ value – the true core of the company.

“Small and medium-sized businesses have a tremendous influence on the US economy and workforce,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “Organizations like Collaborative Solutions have found the key not only for winning top talent against their larger competitors, but also for playing a leadership role in dramatically improving the day-to-day experience of US labor conditions by creating great workplaces where everyone can succeed regardless of who they are or what job they perform.”
