As you likely know by now, Workday Rising is just days away! The conference is being held October 1-4 in Las Vegas, and we’re thrilled to join Workday and our customers for four days of opportunities to connect and learn. It’s our favorite time of year because Workday Rising allows us to connect outside of the technology that unites us, reminding us that we can go further together.
With so many activities to choose from at Workday Rising, it can be difficult to decide how to schedule your time. But we’ve got you covered! Read on for our recommendations of how to make the most of your time at Workday Rising.
The fantastic sessions presented by Workday and your fellow Workday community are arguably the most important and impactful part of the conference. The offerings just seem to get better each year, and it can be hard to narrow down your choices. Make sure you’ve got these sessions on your calendar. We’re a bit biased, but these sessions led by Collaborative Solutions and some of our fantastic customers will give you actionable takeaways to continue your business transformation and increase your ROI.
Join Collaborative Solutions to hear how your company can improve data analysis and solve complex report needs. You already know year-end is busy. Add to that changing your company’s supervisory organization and reorganizing from a financial perspective, including the performance and compensation cycle and closing the books. In this session, Booz Allen Hamilton shares how it leveraged Workday to successfully accomplish this with a carefully sequenced approach and thoughtful safeguards.
Is your company preparing for or going through a merger and acquisition (M&A) or divestiture? Join this session to learn how to plan for this type of activity, understand the processes Workday has in place to support customers, and gain insight from experienced Workday customers. This session also includes an overview on how to engage with Workday when planning and/or going through an M&A.

Just because your team is small doesn’t mean you can’t do big things with Workday. Whether it’s initial deployment, rolling out new features, or defining your change management and communications strategy, a lean internal support team can sustain and optimize Workday. Join Pepsi-Cola and Toyota Financial Services for tried-and-true tips that helped these organizations add functionality, tackle reporting, and maximize the value of Workday update functionality with minimal resources.
