Collaborative Solutions Recognized by Consulting Magazine as a “Best Firm to Work For” in 2020

Company ranks number four on the list of the consulting profession’s top employers, recognized by Consulting® Magazine for the third consecutive year.

RESTON, VA –  November 13, 2020 – Collaborative Solutions announced today that it has been recognized as the #4 ‘Best Firm to Work For’ by Consulting® Magazine. Consulting® Magazine conducts the popular Best Firms survey annually, with over 300 of the industry’s top firms participating each year.

“This recognition speaks volumes and recognizes our laser focus on maintaining a strong, positive culture all while we experience rapid growth across the organization,” said Carroll Ross, Chief Executive Officer. “Our employees are the clear foundation of our success. Their performance this year has been nothing short of phenomenal and they are the reason why we continue to satisfy our customers and be successful in this industry.”

The rankings are based on responses to survey questions taken by a firm's own consultants. The questions cover six areas of employee satisfaction: Culture, Career Development, Work/Life balance, Client Engagement, Compensation & Benefits and Firm Leadership. Scores are measured against all qualifying firms. In all, 40 firms are on the list each year, 20 Best Firms to Work For and 20 Best Small Firms to Work For. Typically, between 12,000 and 15,000 completed surveys are submitted each year across more than 300 participating firms.

“I am encouraged and humbled by the results of this survey,” said Bob Maller, President and Chief Culture Officer. “The wellbeing of our employees is one of our top priorities, because we could not be successful without the expertise and work ethic that they bring to our customers. We embrace our employees as whole people, and I’m thrilled that we continuously grow better at doing this year after year.”

Collaborative Solutions has focused on its culture from the beginning, even throughout its tremendous growth in the last several years and especially during the challenges of the past year. One creative way that Collaborative employees have made virtual connections with each other is through the company’s virtual “Week of Learning,” where employees hosted group workshops, such as how to build a birdhouse, Tibetan Singing Bowls and meditation, yoga, baking banana pudding, and more.  Additionally, Collaborative’s newly-formed Diversity & Inclusion council and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are empowering employees to support each other and make meaningful impacts on the organization while working remotely.

This is the sixth year that Collaborative has been named to the magazine's list of Best Firms to Work For. This recognition follows many other noteworthy honors throughout 2020 for Collaborative, including Fortune Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services, Fortune Best Small & Medium Workplaces, Fortune Best Place to Work for Millennials, Fortune Best Place to Work for Women, Top 100 Best Companies in Florida, Top Workplaces in D.C., Top Workplaces in the Bay Area, Best Places to Work in Atlanta, as well as recognitions for the Executive Leadership Team.
