For Second Year, FORTUNE Recognizes Collaborative Solutions as a ‘Best Workplace for Diversity’

RESTON, VA – December 7, 2018 – Collaborative Solutions announced its placement on FORTUNE Magazine and Great Place to Work®’s list of 2018 Best Workplaces for Diversity at #70. This is the second year the company has been on this list.

The Best Workplaces for Diversity list was based on a 60-question survey evaluating the experiences of women, people of color, LGBTQ people, employees who are of the ‘Baby Boomer’ generation or older, and people who have disabilities. The survey measured trust, pride, and camaraderie experienced in the workplace, and how those experiences compare to their colleagues’ experiences at the same workplace. Also considered in the rankings were employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the consistency of leadership effectiveness.

Collaborative Solutions’ commitment to diversity begins in the recruitment pipeline and is woven into day-to-day work life. The recruiting team actively seeks candidates through a variety of outlets to ensure top talent and a diverse make up of employees. From there, programs are implemented to support individuals in reaching their full potential, as well as to keep a pulse on sentiment and growth areas. Initiatives such as 1:1 mentorship, matching new and senior consultants together, as well as manager effectiveness surveys have proven to help foster employee development and understand company strengths and identify areas for improvement.
